Oh, sweet lovelies, I hope you are doing well. I hope you are feeling festive and enjoying some styles that reflect the season. I know parties are at a minimum, which means less opportunities to wear those seasonal pieces.
I have been working more remotely lately. Staying in an extended-stay hotel means I am in contact with a variety of people from who knows where. I am trying to be careful for myself and others, so I haven’t been going into the office. However, yesterday was our final Commissioners Court for 2020 and one of our Commissioners will not be returning. He was not re-elected. I did go into the office on Tuesday and this is what I wore.
Red plaid pants for the festive win. I found these at the Gap Factory Outlet a little while back. There were on super sale so they obviously went home with me.
These pants were easy to pair with the blazer and white tie blouse in my closet. I tried this look with leopard flats and combat boots. I chose the leopard print shoes…of course I did. They are always my favorite.
Our sweet little doggie, Ellie, wanted to be a part of this photoshoot in the hallway. She completely participated in the shoot and was so poised when the camera was pointed her way.
Well, here’s a little update. Tuesday morning I changed my mind and wore something different. Does this happen to you? Have a style plan and then re-think it upon waking? This is basically what I wore. This top with black pants and leopard print flats, of course.
Enjoy your festive seasonal wear wherever you have the opportunity…even if you only dress up for yourself. You are worth the effort to dress up for you!
There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens… Ecclesiastes 3:1
Remember, now is the season of Christmas. A time we typically look forward to and cherish. A time of hope, good tidings and being festive. Don’t lose those moments of this season because of a pandemic. Put on that little festive outfit even if it’s only for YOU!
Have a beautiful day! ~ Carrie
P.S. Remember I’m going to have a link-up on December 20 – 20 from 2020. Hope you’ll be there.

These are the cutest and most festive pants! I just love them! My husband has been working remotely for the most part since last March. He was going in a bit more during the fall, but then we had a spike before Thanksgiving, so he isn’t going in at all again. Crazy times!

Carrie, these pants are fabulous! I love, love, love plaid pants. And leopard is always a favorite of mine to pair with plaid, especially red plaid. Although the combat boots look great as well and would be better for me in my cold and snowy climate! Wishing you a very blessed Christmas, my friend! Thanks so much for joining the Stylish Monday link party!
