Hey there! I hope you’re doing well and I’m thankful you’re here today. I’m also thankful for this sweet season of Christmas. I feel my heart is settling into it more this year than it has in the past. I always love how this season can bring out the best in us and move us toward loving our fellow humans. Sweetness!
If you stopped by on Monday then you know the house is decorated. Now it’s time to decorate me for the holidays. Here in lies the problem. Typically, we don’t really hit any Christmas parties, so I have about zero holiday pieces. I wish I had an ugly Christmas sweater but I haven’t found one I really liked. That’s probably the point, right? Why would I like an ugly sweater? But I digress. Back to today’s post. The problem is finding some cute holiday attire for the season.
Thank you to Old Navy for providing the perfect little flannel tunic. Is that not just perfectly comfy for this season? This top is so versatile as it can be styled up or down. I love it with a pair of black skinny pants and this open drapey sweater. I would totally wear this to church on Christmas Eve.
Easy peasy to change out those pants with a pair of jeggings and booties. The drapey sweater can easily come off when the temps go up and I’m still casual and festive.
Red always makes me feel festive. Flannel is perfect for this time of year. Perfect combo, friends. Can’t wait to see your festive attire. Head on over to The Blended Blog and add your post to our link up and check out the bloggers below and their best festive attire.

Carrie you look so pretty in that red! I also really like that drapey sweater, it’s perfect to stay cozy without being too bulky. I have an “ugly” Christmas sweater from Walmart – it’s kinda cute and was affordable. It’s fun to wear when you work in a school!

Love this look on you!! What a great way to make a bold plaid work for the office (or church). I tend to default to the jeans + booties version, but the drapey sweater + dress pants is just perfect. I’m going to have to think about how I can copy this… 🙂
