We are in the final week of the Fall Style Me Challenge at Get Your Pretty On. Unbelievable! It has flown by so quickly, yet with so much fun, friendship and learning along the way. Sad that we will finish up another challenge in a few days, but there is good news. The good new? Another challenge is starting up. Registration begins on Friday, October 31. I think this is uber exciting because it is a basic wardrobe challenge and geared for women over 40. You can read about it here. Another bonus? Yep! Alison is teaming up with Cyndi Spivey and if you haven’t read here blog, then hop over here and check it out.
Last week was super busy for me and I found myself not home in the evenings, which means that my photos are minimal. My in-home lighting is just not good which is why I typically avoid selfies and like to shoot photos outside. The hubs is such a trooper and snapped a few photos in the house, but honestly I just am chalking last week up to a fail in photos. Week 3 consisted of Days 10-16 and here’s what I have to share.
DAY 11 – PICTURE FAIL DAY….
DAY 15 ANOTHER PICTURE FAIL DAY…
Please stop by and visit my blogging buddies. I know they didn’t have picture and outfit fails this week. You’ll be so glad you check out their blogs, plus you’ll be totally inspired.

I know what you mean, last week I had to shoot all of my photos indoors and they are always so much better outside. I think your photos turned out great! My favorite outfits are the first and the third.

Thanks, Jill! Natural lighting is just the best and it really makes a world of difference in the final product. Glad you stopped by today!

you are looking great as always! love all the layers.
Carrie says
Thanks, Beth! Just waiting for the temps to drop a little more so I can wear all the layers of the season. Glad you stopped by today!
Lisa @ Daily Style Finds says
Love your style! I am with you on picture taking. It is too dark in my house and the days are getting shorter – so I am running it to a bit of dilemma, leaving only weekends.

you did better than me with taking pics! I’ve been an awful blogger/commenter lately… SOOO here I am commenting on my lunch lol
I LOVE the way you look in plaid, you dress it up so nicely! perfect!
Carrie says
I took my computer with me today and was going to do the same but we had someone out sick so I didn’t really get a full lunch break. 🙁 I am mad about plaid this season…kinda like stripes and polka dots.

Again- I’m drawn to the outfits the most with the tall boots! Love it all!

Thanks, Deena. I think it is actually going to get chilly enough to really wear them this weekend. I hope so!!

This Style Me Pretty challenge sounds like a lot of fun. I follow Cyndi Spivey’s blog and I am not yet 40… (close at 37) but, I need to check out this next style challenge. I always love all of your outfits, even if they are taken inside you are still beautiful. My favorite is the burgundy/wine colored tunic and also the outfit with the red/black plaid shirt w/ black quilted vest.
Carrie says

Renae says
