First Wednesday of the month and it’s time to link-up with Anne in Residence for the Currently post. One of my favorites. Anne’s link-up is always filled with great posts to read and fabulous bloggers to meet. Excited to read the Currently posts today.
Loving ~ I am loving being at home. Well, I do go into work but typically, I spend the mornings in the office and work at home in the afternoon. Since I feel settled, I enjoy the time in my home. Cooking and doing a little baking is making my heart swell with love for this time. None of this is Covid related., I mean I’m not confined to my home but instead, I’m choosing to spend more time at home.
Reading ~ I’m reading a few books right now or maybe listening to some and reading others. Currently, this is my favorite!
Remembering ~ I’ve been remembering my mom. January 30, marked two years since she passed. I miss her so much at different times. Wish I could talk to her and get her input but instead, I’ve learned to trust my own voice a little more than I used to. One of the last and favorites pictures of mom and dad when I was home a couple of years ago.
Sharing ~ I’ve been creating and sharing outfits on Instagram and my Facebook page and group. I decided to bring back Create28 and style the clothes I have in my closet. It’s been so fun and creative! Here are the prompts if you want to join in and follow me on Instagram.
Wishlisting ~ I’m wishlisting a few things for the house. Mainly decor pieces. I say wishlisting, but I don’t really have much in specifics, which is the problem. I definitely need help getting things on my walls, but not exactly sure what it will be.
What would a Wednesday post be without a little style? Yep, it’s totally ok to add a little style and mix it up with Currently, right?
Today, it’s a mix of three colors for two looks for the office. Yes, I still go into the office and I’m thankful I can have that opportunity. This is an easy change for cooler or warmer days – pants or skirt.
And what would a photo shoot be without our sweet little Ellie?
Thank you for stopping by today and reading my post. I appreciate everyone who reads and thankful for your comments.
Have a wonderful day!

Aw, what a sweet photo of your mom and dad. I have been home for almost 10 years now and never thought I would enjoy it as much as I do. I was so afraid that I would be climbing the walls and missing constant day to day interactions with other “adult” humans. But there is something immensely satisfying and cozy about being home.

Sounds like a good mix of being in the office and at home – I love my at-home time too. And wishlisting some decor items is an even better way to enjoy being in your home more π How lovely to share the memory and photo of your mom. Hope you have a good month!

I’m sad for all the people who are remembering loved ones who have passed today. And I put that book on hold. It sounds interesting.

I got choked up reading about your mom. I cannot imagine how you must feel, but that photo of your sweet parents together is beautiful! I need to add D-Day Girls to my reading list! Have you read “Beneath A Scarlet Sky”?

Thinking of you in regards to your mom! I’m sure the anniversary is especially tough.
That book looks interesting. I find books about WWII to often be fascinating.

Cute outfits, I have shoe envy now. π π That book sounds interesting too. I don’t think one ever gets over missing their Mom; I often address problems by wondering what she would do. Happy February.

Great color combo. I am a Tennessee Vol – go BIG ORANGE – so that is a color that speaks to me. Love it with the blue and gray. And girl, your legs look spectacular!! Give that pup a snuggle for me. Reminds me of my Cheyenne. I miss her everyday.
Do you ever feel your mom’s presence? I used to say that ‘butterflies’ were my dad coming by to visit. But last spring and summer, we rarely had any butterflies and I felt my dad fading away. He has been gone 8 years now. I loved seeing butterflies and feeling him close.

Your orange and blue outfit is complete perfection! I’m a bit biased when it comes to those to colors. π
