The day to reveal the pieces for 31 Days 31 Ways at Greater than Rubies arrived on Friday. I’m a little late to the party but hey, I’m here! In the past, Caitlin’s challenges have been 20×30 {20 pieces to remix for 30 days}. This time the goal is to create 31 new outfits from the pieces chosen from your closet. As I started to choose my pieces, I wanted to stick in the vein of mainly black and white with a few pops of color, some patterns (stripes & plaid) and a little animal print. As I’m looking at my pieces, there are oodles of outfits streaming through my mind. I think this challenge is going to be a blast. Be sure to stop by every Friday in October for a weekly recap of outfits.
Here’s my pieces. I ended up with 21. Trying something a little different and working through a theme of sorts that has been rolling around in my head. Sometimes what is good in a thought doesn’t materialize as well in the flesh, but we shall see. Here’s to happy remixing!

I love basic items – they easy to remix, they are timeless and look always classy!!!!

I probably have too many basics and not enough unique pieces to remix with for eye-catching outfits. I’m working on it though.

I’m so bad at outfit planning that I could never do this challenge. But kudos to you!!! You picked some great items!

Well, it doesn’t always work out as I plan but we’ll see how it all falls together this month.

You are by far the Queen of Remixing. I haven’t had time to comment and catch up with you as I used to, due to being so busy but I have stopped by whenever I could and just today pinned a ton of your looks. You chose so many great, versatile and neutral pieces that I am certain you can create so many looks with. In my latest 30 for 30 I had 24 items of clothing and 6 pairs of shoes and this time around I created 42 outfits but I had at least 20 more in my head to create. =)
I love all of your plaid/windowpane shirts, the B+W tops/cardigan and both skirts you chose. Today’s outfit is also super cute. Love mixing B+W Prints.
BTW, The Outfit I posted today I could totally see you wearing, Carrie. Take a peek. =)
